Definitely microwave & paper towels! Soooo much grease comes off of them, I don't know if they'd ever get crisp in a frying pan. An oven might work if you cooked them on wire racks, or something that would let the grease drip off... but the microwave is so easy & quick.

Did you use the little ones or the big ones? Deep frying sounds interesting. I like to get the Deli size ones and nuke them til not quite crispy, basically to get all the grease out of them and then use two of them for a sandwich. I fill the inside with cream cheese and black olives or any kind of cheese, sometimes with mayo or mustard and a pickle slice. Yummy!! For the chips, I've always nuked them. But you can bake them, it just takes longer. I also like to make pepperoni nachos. After nuking them some, then I spread them out on a baking sheet and cover with shredded cheddar and a jalepeno slice or a black olive slice on each and then bake until the cheese is melted. The bottom (pepperoni) stays crispy and it's a great treat and reminds me of nachos. |

I would for sure make them in the microwave cuz I did them in the oven and it was hard to keep the ucky grease off them....do yall use the original pep or the turkey ones...I tried the turkey ones and they were rubbery after I cooked them...
I made them just like the others...although they do have way less grease... |

These are great - quick fix in the microwave - be sure to cover with paper towels.
Also watch out for sodium and nitrates - I get the kind w/o nitrates. |
