Ziplock icecream from the Recipe Room
1 tablespoon Sugar-substitute 1/2 cup cream 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla 6 tablespoons Rock salt 1 pint-size Ziploc plastic bag 1 gallon-size Ziploc plastic bag Ice cubes (probably about 3 trays worth...) How To Make It Put cream, vanilla, and sugar-substitute into the small bag, and seal it. Fill the large bag half full of ice, and add the rock salt. Place the small bag inside the large one and seal it carefully. Shake until mixture is ice cream, about 5 minutes. Wipe off top of small bag, then open carefully and enjoy! |

What! OMG now this is a bit overdone...it is ice cream. Ice Cream that is actually allowed on atkins...I'm surprised at you Kimmer...I would have thought you would be ok with this because it does not have sugar alcohols...looks like ice cream, taste like ice cream...I would not use it until you get closer to goal but it is rather good, I like to use almond extract in mine... Cream that's all it is...frozen cream...wow. G |

. I remember making this the first time around (2000-2001) and it was very good. BUT, just like with me and cream cheese, it caused my losses to slow... So, as good as it was, it was a no-go for the permanent menu stash!!! ![]() |

I do have to admit those things are still pretty tastey now and then!!! Funny thing is, I can remember making them for the first time - way back when!!! ![]() And thanks... I learned a lot from my first time... and NOT doing a lot of what I did then is helping tremendously!!! ![]() |

Mel and Kim - I have this recipe printed out from 2001, lol! I never did use it though. I never did like the huge amount of low carb products on the market when lcing was "cool"

I'd forgotten about mock danish. It's a nice change for breakast once in awhile. I loved to melt a little butter on top and sprinkle some splenda and cinnamon over the whole thing.
i think the recipe is: 1 egg 1 oz. cream cheese. vanilla 1 pk. splenda You just mix it all together and pop it in the microwave for about a minute until it's cooked. It's quite good! |

For newbies, those are followed a few weeks later by the "I'm stalled and don't know why, I'm only eating legal foods" posts. There was a reason that Dr. A limited cream to 3 T a day, and that was before the Enduldge bar era. Toothpick, mock Danish? Are you trying to giving me a heart attack? ![]() |

![]() Walkingwoman, how do you get yogurt to freeze properly? That would be something I'd be interested in as an activity for boys this summer. |

I just use the same method as the ziplock icecream or my icecream maker (it is small and makes 3 small containers at the same time) but I eat it immediately.
