German Salad with pic

Farley – that is what I am doing too! It’s a great quick lunch. I keep a cup of bacon grease in the fridge along with all my fixins ready to go and it literally takes just a minute to zap the grease and mix the dressing then toss with the salad. I love it with a side of cold roasted chicken or any leftover meat really.

My favorite mix is:
Baby spinach
Toasted pine nuts
Halved cherry tomatoes
Cheddar cheese cubes
Boiled eggs
Chopped bacon
