It depends on what you want to use them for.
I find xylitol indispensable for baking. It adds substance yet causes me NO gastrointestinal distress (most artificial sweeteners do).

I also find that mixing different artificial sweeteners together makes a world of difference

I use xylitol, pure sucralose, glycerine, stevia and, VERY occasionally, one of the specialty maltitol products like honey and brown sugar. Oh, I also use SF Da Vinci syrups for sweetening and flavoring.

Hi, I really like the combination of splenda with erythritol and polydextrose. I have had no problems with the erythritol as far as stomach upset. Hope this helps.

I'm hooked on splenda + erythritol + ace k. I also use poly D in combination with these when baking.

I use liquid Splenda, Stevia Plus, Erythritol, and AceK (Sweet One), along with polydextrose for bulk.

I agree with everything that's been mentioned except for xylitol. I see xylitol as a lose-lose situation. From the research that I've done, lack of tummy troubles is a sign that the xylitol is digesting. So either you don't digest it and it sends you to the bathroom or you do digest it and experience the impact of the carbs - 3/4 the carbs of sugar. That's too carby for me.

I know sweetleaf stevia (steviaplus) has a lot of fans, but I still lean towards ace k as my third sweetener because of the price.

I'm a type 2 diabetic, have tested the impact of every artificial sweetener I've used on my blood sugar, have done so since I started lowcarbing in 1999. Xylitol does NOT negatively affect my blood sugar
I'm quite aware of that old saw that if you can digest it easily, it must not be good for you, lol. That's a lowcarb adage. Adages are not always true, as I'm sure you know

Ditto. I also do a lot of baking with vanilla Designer Whey powder which is sweetened with stevia--the combination of sweeteners really mimics sugar VERY well.

Another who likes sucralose, xylitol and stevia. If I were to have only 2 in my arsenal though, I'd make it sucralose (concentrated) and stevia.

I like using a combination of sucralose (Splenda) and erythritol and now I'm wondering about xylitol. I'm gonna look for it at my health food store. I wish I could tolerate maltitol or polydextrose. It's not fair! I'm leaning towards using liquid Splenda instead of the granular to cut down on carbs. Maltodextrin in the Splenda is annoying!
