russell stover choc chips vs. mini carb
i've been using the mini carb and they are quite good but was wondering if anyone can compare them w/the russell stover brand. the first ingredient in russell stovers is maltitol...that's a big yikes for me!

I've been able to buy the Russell Stover's brand chocolate chips at my WalMart, so I gave them a try. They're really good. I don't think I could tell the difference in them and Nestle's, but because of the Malitol, I have to really practice portion control. I made Linda Sue's Pecan Coconut Clusters (I think that's what they were called). They were wonderful!

I agree with theredhead. I just found the Russell Stover ones and they taste much more like Nestle's chocolate chips than the MiniCarb ones do. But...the Maltitol is a real turn off. I'm thinking of using a mixture of the two, but haven't tried it yet.
