Storing Ground Flax Seed?

Do I put this in the freezer with my Almond Flour, or keep in the cabinet?

Beeb, I've heard it goes rancid just like nuts, so I keep mine in the fridge or freezer.

I keep mine in a container in the refridgerator. The almond flour is in my freezer though.
