I guess you could make a plain vanilla and just add pumpkin spice to it. Hmmm .... I'll have to try this out. Thanks for the idea!

To 5 cups of softened vanilla ice cream, add 1 cup of pumpkin puree, and 2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice - you need this much to get enough flavor. Then reprocess in your ice cream maker. I just made some for our Canadian Thanksgiving - it was a huge hit.
You could also toast some pecans with some Splenda and cinnamon, chop and stir in the last 5 minutes for even more of a treat! |
