No sugar added bacon

While buying bacon yesterday, I noticed that Kroger has a no sugar added/lower sodium bacon for the same price as their regular bacon. It's Kroger's own brand. I bought some but haven't tried it yet.

That's what I always bought when I wanted bacon; I really dislike too much salt.... it ruins the flavor of the bacon...( my person opinion of course

Safeway's brand of low sodium bacon and also Gwaltney brand at Super Walmart, both have no added sugar. *Ãœ*

When the Meijer brand is on sale at Meijer's they also have a no sugar added plus lower salt. It doesn't keep as long fresh but is very good. I also dislike it very salty.

The Kroger sugar free bacon tasted fine, but I prefer smokier tasting bacon. I usually buy Blue Ribbon brand, which is really smoky.
