How many grams of fat in pork rinds?
My doc says I have to eat low fat - so I was wondering - how many fat grams in pork rinds?
I'm sure they're off limits - but I was just wondering because I wanted to use it as a coating on some oven "fried" chicken. Thanks! Melissa |

This is what MasterCook has to say about 1 cup of Pork Skins:
Per Serving (excluding unknown items): 1289 Calories; 74g Fat (53.5% calories from fat); 145g Protein; 0g Carbohydrate; 0g Dietary Fiber; 225mg Cholesterol; 4348mg Sodium. Exchanges: 20 1/2 Lean Meat; 2 1/2 Fat. Hope that answers your question. ![]() |

A serving of pork rinds is actually lower in fat than a serving of potato chips... that just amazes my DH.
