Sugar Free Pancakes HELP!!
I tried Sheila's SugarFree Pancakes this morning.
Needless to say!! YUCK
Maybe I did something wrong but they had a taste I can not even begin to describe
4 oz cream cheese (soft)
1tlb cream of tarter
1TB SF vanilla syrup
Mix together until lump free and spoon onto griddle.
I don't know, I am sure these are delicious, but maybe my "brain" was really wanting pancakes and this just didn't meet it's criteria as a substitute
Please help or is there a better recipe out there!!!
thanks in advance for all of your help!

Was that one TABLESPOON of cream of tartar? If it was, that may well have been the taste.
I'd use 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder myself. Also, 1 tbs vanilla syrup doesn't seem like a lot. I suspect they didn't have enough sweetness.
