Conversion cocoa powder to unsweetened chocolate squares???
Hey!
I have printed out Sherrie's Decadent Brownies recipe to make some for the hubby, but I fubared & got the unsweetened chocolate baking bar instead of cocoa powder. Can I still use the baking chocolate? what would the amount be for 9 tbsp of cocoa powder? |

Yes, you can use the squares...melted. I'm pretty sure one square is equal to one tablespoon cocoa.

1 ounce unsweetened baking chocolate is equal to 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa plus 1 tablespoon butter.
You might want to cut down on any butter in the recipe, to compensate for the added fat in the baking squares. |
