Help, my cheesecake looks wrinkly

I just looked at my cheesecake for the first time and the top didn't crack but has little waves in it. Has this happened to anyone? It smells ok. aahh.

LOL I asked this same question the first cheesecake I made. I just made another tuesday night and yes, it was wrinkly too. Maybe it makes a skin on top and then some shrinkage to make the wrinkles. My first one turned out great tho and I'm thinking this one will be just as good!

Totally normal....that's what cheesecakes do. You can put a nice sour cream mixture on top like a "frosting" if you don't like the way it looks. This is delicious if you aren't using any other kind of topping.

1 cup sour cream
3-4 packets of Splenda
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Blend together and spread evenly on the TOP of the cheesecake. I usually leave about 1/4 inch naked around the edge.

LOL Camoflauges are wonderful things for cheesecakes! Sweetened whipping cream works great too - just so long as you add it just before serving. I usually make a pretty topping using my ISI whipper. Dependingon the flavor of your cheesecake, you can also dust the sour cream or whipped cream topping with cinnamon, nutmeg, cocoa, or you could even make a fruit topping using sugar free preserves. You could even add some sugar free syrup, depending on the flavor of your cheesecake, of course!

Relax. Most things that come out of the oven just don't look all that beautiful without decoration! It will be wonderful, and your guests will surely appreciate the effort you made just for them!
