Michelle made it to goal
It is 8 months to the day I started this WOE and today I hit goal !
I started at 260 lbs and picked 180 because the last time I dieted ( LOW fat/Low cal) I just couldn't get below 180 no matter what I tried. So as not to be disappointed, I picked 180 because I believed that was achievable. Well today I stepped on my arch enemy and he couldn't even make it to 180. He stopped at 178. I stepped on it 10 times just to be sure. 178,178,178,178 each time. Besides the scale victory I can't believe how good I feel. I don't ever see a doctor unless I get super sick. So I don't know any of my blood results before or after or anything like that, but I can tell you before I needed Pepcid AC and Tums every night and since started this WOE, nothing. I use to have allergies and sneezed alot, now nothing. I was at a chiropractor 3 times a week and a massage therapist once a week, now no more chiropractor and I go for a massage once a month as a treat. I am in the middle of redecorated the house. I'm painted and plastering. This was stuff I just couldn't do before. You don't realize how much you stopped doing when the weight is going on. How much you give up. I'm getting my life back and I owe it all to you on this site and all low carb sites. I send out a big THANK YOU to everyone for their support and for letting me lurk around and soak up valuable information that led me to my goal. ![]() |

Today I was craving pizza and bagels, but I didn't give in because I kept thinking of your post and other peoples' posts where they stuck it out and lost alot of weight. So I am here in my fifth day and cheat free because of your post. Here's to me being able to give an 8th month success story like yours. Congrats!

I am so happy for you. I know what you mean about not being able to do things around the house because of the extra weight. I love decorating and painting and rearranging furniture and am very limited right now due to weight. Thanks so much for sharing your story - you are a success!!!
