Do you think I could make this substitute?
I'd like to try this recipe out, but replacing the SF Raspberry syrup with SF Raspberry jello plus a bit more liquid.
This a cranberry sauce recipe.
1/2 cup Dry red wine
6 packets Truvia -- (equal to 1/4 cup sweetener)
1/4 cup Splenda
1/4 cup xylitol
1/2 cup Davinci Sugar-free Syrup -- Raspberry flavor
12 ounces cranberries -- 1 bag--fresh
1 tablespoon orange extract -- (or 2 TBS zest of an orange)
2 sticks cinnamon
pinch cayenne pepper

This seems like a really strongly flavored recipe. a whole Tbl of orange extract?? 1/2 cup raspberry syrup?? Wow. I would think this would flavor 3 bags of cranberries!
Are you trying to make jello (don't know how the wine would affect that) or replace the raspberry syrup because you don't have any? It's one of the easiest to find... Torani sf raspberry is at my Walmart in the small size by the coffees.
Try it and see!
For the jello, use more liquid to equal 2 cups- you'd need a Tbl less than 1 cup more.
For flavor, I'd either buy the syrup, buy a flavoring like capella drops, or LorAnn flavoring or cook a small container of raspberries in a little water, mash and strain out the seeds.
Maintaining IS winning. Losing... it's icing on the cake!
