P28 High Protein Bread

Has anyone here tried the P28 High Protein Bread, Whole Wheat from Netrition? I'm wondering about the taste and texture. It has 10g net carbs/slice but the reviews say the slices are very large and have 14g protein. I have been eating a light bread that is 9g/slice (Pepperidge Farm light bread) and one slice at breakfast doesn't raise my BG (I am diabetic). PF tastes good but the slices are very small and thin. I like that the P28 has big slices and is so high in protein, so for almost the same carb count it should be more satisfying. The reviews are overwhelmingly good but wanted to get some input from LCF people, if possible.
