Maria Emmerich has a recipe for caramel popcorn. She makes the popcorn out of protein powder and egg whites. Maybe you could fashion something out of that.

They make soy crisps, which are pretty close in consistency to rice cakes. I wonder how they make them? If it's out of soy protein flour, then you could make them out of any protein powder you like. I don't even know where to begin on how to make these, but I'm definitely going to try to find out!

not that I know of. I think it's soy flour. I did try putting dried soybeans in my popcorn popper and all I got was burnt soybeans.

What about the whey protein crisps you can get on netrition? They are puffed already but small, but an alternative to soy.
