Chocolate Flourless Brownies

This recipe is from Food.com by Suzy-Q Cooks

2 oz. Unsweetened Chocolate
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar sub *I used powdered erythritol
4 large eggs
4 large egg yolks
1 T. Vanilla
6 T. Cocoa

Preheat oven to 350. Melt chocolate and butter. Add the rest and mix well. Pour in greased cocoa floured 9x13 pan. Bake for 25 minutes

(I melted chocolate and butter in the microwave in 30 second intervals. It took approximately 1 minute. I then mixed in the powdered erythritol and cocoa to the melted chocolate and butter. By this time the mix had cooled and I added the eggs and vanilla. Let me also recommend skipping the greasing the pan and use parchment paper instead. Watch closely so they do not burn. Baking time may vary with your oven.)

These were fabulous straight out of the oven, but very crumbly. After refrigerating over night they hold together wonderfully and taste incredible!

Yummy!

Enjoy,
Mindy

14 for the unsweetened chocolate
6 for the cocoa
1.64 for the vanilla
_____
21.64 carbs (by my count different brands may vary)

I do not count eggs, butter or erythritol. And I use Ghirardelli chocolate.

Well, if a whole 9x13 pan is 22 (roughly) depends on how many you cut your pan into. Half the pan would only be 11 carbs...

I would LOVE to find a decent LC brownie recipe. I will give this a try when I get some eggs. Thanks for posting. I'll be back with an update.
