Oopsie: Don't Be Afraid!

I keep it simple with my LC WOE and I'm not much on the substitutions for sweets and bread. However, this time around I found myself missing the ability to prepare a quick sandwich and decided to finally try Oopsies. It looked complicated, but boy, was I wrong!

On my first attempt, I didn't beat the egg whites quite long enough and it all ran together, but that was fine. I cut it up and it resembled a very thin flatbread and made a delicious tuna fish sandwich. (hopefully, I can recreate this)

Tonight, was my second attempt. Perfect! I'm having homemade pimento cheese with a thick slice of tomato on my beautiful Oopsie Rolls!

Don't be afraid; it's really not hard. I didn't have any cream of tartar, so I just added a squeeze of lemon to the egg whites. They were so stiff that they didn't move at all when I turned the bowl over. Simple and good!

Thank you Cleochatra!

I have made many , many oopsie rolls. Good for you they are wonderful. There is also a very long wonderful thread on different ways to use them. It's on the sticky page.

Let us know and we will link to it for you.

Rene! How are you??

I've made them numerous times. I like them better than DH does. Glad you finally tried them and found them to your liking!

Thanks, Char! I'm fine, but got lazy and stressed and gained some weight, so I'm back at it full force! Hope all is well with you!
