HOLA ALL GADGETEERS (CHAR)

I was 'night owling' last evening and my show was over and it directly
went into a infomercial "Wolfgang Puck's" pressure oven.
Showing drastically juicy roast chicken and many other things.
Huge puffy casseroles etc. Has anyone seen this yet? Or perhaps I am
way behind the times. Always seeking and searching new ways to make
old foods, it was intriguing. It's supposed to take the place of oven,
microwave and can pressure foods as well.

Anyone want to express themselves on this item?
or perhaps know something about it?

I read all the reviews on this oven and...

I am going to hold off until this oven is improved and made a bit
larger inside. Would like better insulation.

Some of the reviews are dazzling and some are daunting.

Main complaints are lack of instructions, too small inside,
wouldn't have room for a 10-11 lbs. turkey. Needing a better
cook book. Oven gets very hot. Not a good thing.

Main compliments are juicy chicken, nice and brown.
People liked that they could use it in place of microwave/convection
oven and not having to heat up a large oven. It makes food very fast.
45 minutes for a oven chicken that would take 1.5 hours.

Hey fellow Gadget Gal! Never heard of this one - will have to look it up.

Right now I have a big whole turkey breast in my smoker/roaster oven though. I love that thing.

I haven't seen this, but I bought a deep fryer about 4 years or so ago, I used it twice, then the oil wouldn't get up to temp. Sent an e-mail, no response, then called several times, their customer service was terrible. I kept getting the run around, finally gave up after a year and tossed it. I personally would not buy anything of "Wolfgang Puck's"...... Ann

thanks Ann. Let me know what you think Char.

Just on poor service alone, I would stay away.

I checked it out a bit, Barbo, and I think I'd probably not chance it. JMHO of course!

I did see him presenting that a few weeks ago. Looks enticing but I have too much junk anyway so that would be a no.

I do have a pressure cooker though and I love it.
