5 carb Peanut Butter Banana Shake- low fat and high fat versions

My latest creation! You can make this higher fat by substituting some of the almond milk with cream but right now I am doing a month long stint of very low carb + very low calorie (also known as the HCG diet, like doing 30 low carb JUDDD down days in a row).

1/2 scoop Chocolite peanut butter protein powder
1/2 scoop Chocolite banana creme protein powder
1 Tbl PB2 (powdered peanut butter)
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
3 drops vanilla stevia or EZ-Sweetz (or 1 1/2 pkts something else)
a scoop of crushed ice
a pinch of salt if you want
1/4 tsp guar or xanthan gum to thicken it

Put it all in a magic bullet (fits perfectly in the mug). Whirl it up until the ice is well blended.

132 calories
10 carbs + 5 fiber = 5 net carbs
6 g fat
16 g protein

Now to improve one bit further - use unsweetened chocolate almond milk and add a tablespoon of cocoa powder! One of my faves! :)

And thanks for the reminder, haven't made this in ages. When I do the high-fat version I use regular all natural PB instead of the powder.

I've had 4 of these now. I did try peanut butter chocolate but I prefer the peanut butter banana.

Yes, I can't wait for a more fatty version- cream, real peanut butter soon!

Oh no you need the banana in there too - PB/Choco/Nana! :D

No nanas until I hit goal and it sticks!

I meant the banana protein powder! :) That's what I use. Banana protein powder, cocoa powder, and PB or PB powder. It's a great combo!
