Question for Maintainers. Parboiled or Sprouted Rice

So I am 10 pounds away from my Goal. I have no idea how long it will take to get there but thinking of reintroducing small amounts of rice occasionally.

Does anyone use Parboiled rice? Supposedly parboiled rice has more resistant starch than regular rice. I've also seen sprouted brown rice at the Asian Market.

I haven't eaten rice since starting this WOE but my son eats rice so recently I started buying a brand of Indian basmati rice that markets itself as " Diabetic Friendly and having a lower glycemic index than regular or brown basmati rice". -

So tonight as I'm checking out various blogs, I came across an article on a primal blog talking about parboiled rice - and realized that this is pretty much what the Indian brand that I bought for my son is doing -Its just parboiled with a hefty tag, so from now on I will just look for plain ol parboiled rice without the marketing gimmick.

Anyone use parboiled or sprouted rice?

I occasionally use sprouted short-grain brown rice. We sprout it ourselves, then dehydrate; then cook like normal when we want some. I stick with small servings though. So far - no problems.
