Oopsie Rolls...yet another question

I tried the oopsie rolls (with the sweetener) and they are really very good. However, is there anything that can be done to firm them up...in other words, anything that I can add to make them a little more like bread consistency? I would like to try making them without sweetener maybe using poppy seeds on top but I just feel like they are too "flimsy" to use as a burger bun

Yes there is. Jen Hoberer says to dry out in a dehydrator and that should work. If you don't have one let them dry for a few hours on the counter. Or put back in oven on the lowest temp. and let them dry out.

Then you can brown them a little bit it makes them much studier.

Hope that helps.

Wow, where did my actual response go? Was it on another thread?

Thanks for answering!

Just adding ground flax --maybe 2 Tbs-- to the egg yolks/cream cheese mix and then quickly fold it into the whites(because the flax will soak up some of the liquid in the yolks and make it less easy to 'fold' into the whites).

Uses for oopsie rolls (recipe thread)
