Favorite/Least Favorite "LC FOODS" product or mix?

I'm about to make a Netrition order and I'd like to try a product from this company. Their items are on the pricey side... so please give me some ideas of what you really like and really don't like!

FYI - Its cheaper to get the flours than the mixes. I would skip the things like the pizza mix and just get the flour instead.

Favorites
-
Pizza and Bagel Flour - Hands down best low carb pizza!

White Bread Flour - I don't make bread with this. I use it for breading for frying things. Just like seasoning high carb white flour for fried chicken or seafood. I tried making bread with it but it turned out like a hockey puck. I don't know if it was user error or the product. I love it as my breading for fried foods though. Just made fried chicken with it last night for dinner and it was nice and crispy as always just like high carb fried chicken. My other favorite thing to do with this is cinnamon rolls. They have a cinnamon rolls mix - but you can use this and just follow a high carb cinnamon roll recipe and sub the milk with HWC.

Biscuit Flour & Pie Crust Flour - Love this. It turns out biscuits that rival high carb biscuits. I do have a con for this flour. The process for making the biscuits is a bit tedious IMO. I wish there was a simpler way. But the end result is worth it I suppose.

Pancake Mix - Its really good but I probably won't buy anymore. I have several packs that I bought last year and they have since raised their price. Makes great pancakes but I've since made some great pancakes using lupin/almond flour that I like.

Sweet Brown - Love this brown sugar sub. It has a hint of a chocolatey flavor to it. I love it on cinnamon rolls. Sometimes add a bit of it to my Guy's BBQ sauce.

Banana Smoothie Mix - I don't know what kind of banana flavoring they use, but it is the most realistic banana flavor I have tasted. Makes an awesome banana strawberry or blueberry/banana smoothie. I love these in the summer. I usually use HWC and it serves as a meal for me.

Confectioner's Powder - I love this on donuts

Least Favorite.

Cake Flour - This is the only flour that I have gotten an off taste with. I still have a bunch of it so at some point I'll try mixing it with almond/lupin flour to see if that dilutes that off taste.

Pasta flour - Honestly, the jury is still out for me on this one so I really don't want to say its my least favorite. I didn't experiment with it a whole lot. I liked the lasagna sheets I made with it but not the spaghetti. Matter of fact, I was thinking of mixing it in with that recipe you posted for the Oat fiber pasta.

Frosting mix - Ehh- was not impressed at all.

I think one of my favorite new things (new for me) that I have tried recently is The Great Low Carb Bread Company bread. It won't pass for regular bread, but it's good and it's just nice to not have to always make it and to have a loaf in the freezer. I've tried most flavors - liked the Everything Bread the least and the Pumpkin Spice the best - it's a little sweeter than the Cinnamon Bread and makes nice toast. Slices are a decent thickness.

And one of the products I really thought I would like because almost every review is great is for Ice Chips Hand-Crafted candy. The ginger flavor I couldn't eat at all and the berry and the cinnamon flavors were good, but I just didn't find them satisfying in any way. I found I was eating them just to be eating them, so I gave them up.

I'll throw in the Thinslim Bagels and Squares (and muffins) - I'm a carb and calorie-counter, though. I also order the oat fiber and Glucomannan powder.
I've recently started ordering the Capella flavorings, as well. I'm undecided as to whether I like the cheescake flavoring (or if I prefer the Lorann cheesecake flavoring), and I found glazed donut to be a little weak, but I love the brownie and coconut almond.
I also order the Dixie Diner pancake mix as a bit of a staple.
Good luck - there certainly are many choices!
<edited> I just realized you were probably only wanting reviews for products made by Low Carb Foods Corp., if so - sorry! Hope it's ok I left my reviews of the other stuff. They do seem to have an active facebook page with ideas, though I've not tried anything from them to date. I sort of draw the line at having to add so many ingredients when I've already bought a mix. On the flip side, it gives you access to mixtures where it would be expensive to purchase each ingredient. Not much help, I am!

Tha banana pancake mix is good. The fudge mix is awful both in taste and texture. The powdered milk has promise--I don't make milk with it but worked well to make white chocolate.

Unfortunately the sweetener that LC foods uses really bothers my system.

Well I waited a day to place my order and the banana smoothie mix was gone. Methinks we had a lot of lurkers on this post or something!

Gotta be speedy these days!

You did say Netrition??

Some of these things are from LC Foods?

From Netrition I like getting the CarbQuick, the Belgian marshmallows,
Swerve, Everything bagels and the onion rolls. While not perfect, we
enjoyed them with cream cheese and salmon, toast the rolls LIGHTLY.
Flax/Oat wraps, I make crackers out of them. Once in awhile I order
Carbalose flour and mix it with BTF recipe from our board. Oh I use
the sugar free sweet pickle relish. Lot's of things really.

Too much fiber perhaps? I can't use most of their products because they contain so much fiber. I love their jams though and they don't contain any extra fiber other than what's in the fruit unless they've changed them since I last had them.

Maybe that is it, LindaSue. I got some of their hot cereal and even dh complained of gastric distress. He never is bothered by anything!! So, will have to explore other products without the fiber.

Yeah, there is a lot of fiber in their stuff. Which is why I like it. High fat and High fiber are a winning combo for me for keeping hunger in check.

I got a nice surprise from Glen today. 2 free items to try. Yaaayyyy! I forgot I signed up to be a part of the Ambassador's club to try new products. I guess he reformulated the white bread flour and hamburger rolls. Gonna try to make some rolls tomorrow.

I forgot about the jams. I agree with Linda Sue that they are good too.

I really like Mama Lupe's tortillas - especially fried in olive oil with crack slaw filling. Barbecue sauce and Jok'n'Al lemon fruit spreads are good.

I am enjoying this review of LC Foods brand products. I did not realize how many products they produced and am taking a second look after reading others' reviews. Although I usually do everything from scratch, sometimes that is more time-consuming than I like, and it is fun to try new products that are convenient even if they are a little pricey, especially if they are not used on a daily basis.

Thank you JHoberer for starting this thread on the LC Foods brand. I hope everyone that uses chocolate chips gives the LC Foods chips a try.

Don't know why I never noticed the chocolate chips before TBipp. Thanks for mentioning them. I will definitely include that in my next order. I ordered 1 of their new chocolate bars with my last order. Not bad. Not my most favorite chocolate bar but better than others I've tried and it has no malitol either. I still have a half of it that I was saving to chop up to make chocolate chip cookies.
