BLT pizza with a Bacon Weave crust

There is a restaurant in our area that makes a BLT pizza to die for. My husband and I were talking about low carb options, and he suggested a Bacon crust. Here's what we came up with ... enjoy ! Measurements are approximate based on your personal preferences

BLT pizza with a Bacon Weave Crust

16 slices of bacon
2-3 roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
1-2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2-3 cups shredded lettuce mixed with 2-4 TBSP Mayo

Make a bacon weave with the bacon .. if you’re not sure how, you can get step by step directions here:

Bacon Weave

Bake the weave at 400 for 10-15 minutes until done to your desired crispiness. Remove from pan and place on paper towels to get rid of some of the grease - I used 2 spatulas to do this

Put weave on a cookie sheet, add a layer of roma tomatoes and then the cheese. Broil until cheese melts, maybe 4-5 minutes.

Remove from oven and add the lettuce/mayo mix on top. Makes 4 servings
