Chia Seeds

Can anyone comment on Chia seeds? It's another one of the "all carbs are fiber" foods and it is supposed to be an appetite suppressant.

I would be interested in opinions, personal experiences, and, of course, recipes.

Thanks

I love adding chia seeds to my post-workout smoothie and low-carb yogurt, and using them to make chia pudding. The extra fiber is always welcomed and I do feel satiated longer after eating them. It doesn't take much to get results, either. There are plenty of simple chia pudding recipes online if you do a search.

I make chia pudding, I soak the seeds in coconut milk, add a little vanilla, truvia, cinnamon, and grated nutmeg. I am allergic to fish and seafood, so it is a good way for me to get some omega 3 into my diet.

I love them ! They help with regularity and I add them to greek yogurt several times a week. Sometimes put them in a breakfast smoothie too... they are very filling and have tons of benefits health wise.

I love them. I also do all the things above.

I ground them to put in casseroles and meatloaf. I put them in frattas too.

Thanks

Thanks for all of your responses. I will check out the links. I love vanilla pudding, so that might be the first recipe I try.

Thanks again.
