Low carb dishes I made for thanksgiving...
Lc cranberry sauce (I winged it)...miss
Mac n cheese w/dreamfields...hit!
Lc gravy w/ xantham gum as thickener...super hit!
Ham w/ glaze made of ideal brown sugar, orange flavoring and orange zest...miss
Green beans cooked w/ bacon and onions...super hit!
Pumpkin bake...super hit!
Those were all of the new things I tried for thanksgiving. The turkey ofcourse was a hit I was more than satisfied with the dinner.

I make my cranberry sauce with one bag of cranberries and 1/2 c. sf DaVinci's raspberry syrup....cook till the berries burst and it starts to gel....delicious and easy!

Chocolate Cherry Trifle Soobee
Flourless Chocolate Cake Lauren
1-15 ounce can of unseasoned black soy beans
5 large eggs
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
6 tablespoons unsalted organic butter
3/4 cup erythritol, then powdered
¼ t liquid sucralose
1 t instant coffee
¼ t chocolate extract
6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 T Davinci’s (vanilla, chocolate, or flavor of choice)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Drain and rinse beans in a strainer or colander. Shake off excess water. Place beans into blender. Add all other ingredients. Blend until smooth. (Vitamix) Bake for 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Cake is done when toothpick comes out clean.
Cherry Pie Filling
2 cans of sour cherries
1 cup of Splenda (1/4 tsp. sucralose)
1 to 2 tsp. almond flavoring
xanthan gum to thicken
red food coloring
I find it easiest to separate the cherries from the juice. Thicken the juice with the xanthan, stirring madly. If there are small lumps, don't worry. They will dissolve in time. Add back the cherries and everything else. Color to your liking. I like it nice and red to imitate cherry pie filling. Also the almond is optional, but I like it.
3 boxes sugar free chocolate instant pudding
2 cups of ricotta
2 cups of heavy cream
2 cups of water
Beat together. The slight lumps in the ricotta will dissolve in a few hours.
3-4 cups of heavy cream
Vanilla to taste
Sweetener to taste
Assembly: Break ½ of cake in smaller pieces and lay on the bottom of the trifle bowl. Layer in ½ chocolate pudding mix, ½ cherry pie filling, ½ whipped cream. Repeat. Shave a Chocoperfection bar on top.
