Where is the Sugar-Free Sugar Mix?

I thought I book marked it but it is no where to be found! So..... If it is not toooooo much trouble, would someone mind posting the link for it? It is the sugar mix that most use in baking. It was a mix of erthitol, splenda, xlitol, etc. I think.....

Or maybe it is not here! Maybe it is on the world wide web somewhere....hmmmm!

Anyway, thanks for looking and checking!!

I am not sure exactly what you are referring to as far as a pre-made mix. Many of us just come up with our own combinations. Maybe that is what you mean? Or maybe it was something I had missed. Anyhow, I combine erythritol, stevia and sugar-free syrup. I just dump it in.

As an example, when I make the cream cheese muffins, I add two heaping tablespoons E, 3 packets of Aldi brand stevia, and a couple "splashes" of sugar free vanilla syrup. I just taste and go from there.

Here's a recipe I found on here years ago, think it was posted by RVcook?

"Donna's Shelf-Stable Sugar Blend - use in recipes like sugar"

1/2 lb. Xylitol
1 lb. Erythritol
1 lb. Diabetisweet
1/4 c. SlimSweet (use Splenda if can't find this, she said)
1/8 c. Stevia

Mix all together till blended.

Hope this is the one you were looking for!

Thanks! I was looking for the 'blend' ratios. After I posted I searched blend instead of mix and came up with a few options. I will definelty try the 'Donna Blend' though. I am new to baking and just made my first pie, which didn't turn out that sweet. Okay for me but not to my guest tastes. I suppose it will just take experimenting. I was hoping there was a 'holy grail' of blends that would work with 'all sweet things baking'. lol.

A super simple blend I swear by: 1:1 ratio of xylitol and Splenda granular. It tastes and behaves so much like sugar that untrained tastebuds never notice.

Sooooooo, that means 1:1 ratio of AS and sugar? The AS part is also one to one ie., 1/2c xlitol and 1/2c splenda = 1c sugar? Sorry so silly a question!

That's not silly at all! You are correct; you measure the resultant mix of sweetener 1:1 like sugar.

I'm glad to help. And shoot; if I can save someone else the effort of figuring out what to use, it's more than worth it!
