Soy grits

I finally bought some soy grits today. We had fried fish for dinner so I made cheese grits as a side dish (great Southern food ). The grits cook up like hominy grits, same texture, but have a slight soy taste. Will take some getting used to. The carb count on these is 13 grams and 7 grams of fiber for ECC of 6 for 1/4 cup of uncooked grits. We found 1/4 cup to be more than we wanted after they were cooked. I'm always on the lookout for new and different side dishes. This will be great occassionally.
