Can you freeze spaghetti squash?

I would like to make a few freezer casseroles and I wondered about using spaghetti squash as a hashbrown casserole or maybe another one of chicken alfredo. My question is, can these be frozen? How do they reheat?:dunno:

Thanks!

I have put extra in baggies to freeze, gets watery.I drain it then fry in a pan a few min. to dry out. Think a casserole would end up with too much liquid.

I've only frozen just the spaghetti squash not made into anything before freezing. Lay it flat in freezer bag and it takes up little space. I don't remember it getting watery but it has been so long since I've frozen any.

Maybe the extra cooking in a casserole would dry up some of the moisture? You might just have to try it to see how it works.

I googled it and found quite a few sites regarding freezing spaghetti squash. They said you can freeze cooked spaghetti squash for up to 8 months. It's best to freeze in bags (as opposed to containers) as you can squeeze the air out of the bags. I didn't see anything about freezing it in a casserole, however.

thanks! So if I were to just cook the squash and freeze it that would be ok....hmmm well that would help. Thanks!
