Fake bread made from eggs and cream cheese. Probably the best thing I've found on the forum as I don't normally attempt to recreate foods we can't eat anymore. Changed burger night's for me!

just google oopsie or revolution rolls and the words low carb forum and a lot of thread links will pop up. If you can find one watch a video of how they are made...they are a little difficult to make if you don't get egg whites stiff enough.

Yes the oopsie rolls are made with merengue folded with egg yolks and cream cheese mixture.

I do like the mock danish. I add a lil extra cream cheese and a tbsp of flax... Top with melted butter, cinnamon and sweetener. Tastes like bread pudding to me... Yum

Dr Atkins called them "Revolution Rolls". Made with eggs and cottage cheese. Somebody changed the recipe later, made them with cream cheese and called them OOpsie's. You can google them and find them all over. Even on Pinterest.

Revolution Rolls?

Here you go! This thread goes on for days- the first recipe is the original from the '72 book, but there are many varieties, and it's worth looking through! I've used mayo and no splenda for completely carb free buns. I also use a muffin top pan for "perfect buns"

Hi! The oopsies were my oopsie a few years ago...I say that because I was trying to prepare the Revolution Rolls and accidentally subbed in 3 full ounces of cream cheese. The results ended up being pretty well known. It's one of those times I ended up with something edible (and didn't need a fire extinguisher)when I saw something shiny and messed up a recipe. The cauliflower pizza crust is another one of mine...that one wasn't a mistake.

How long should I leave it in the fridge before it can be used? Will it hold together for a sandwich? It seems so delicate!

Just cool them down, put in a ziplock, they will get soft. Make sure to put foil or parchment between them , they will stick to each other. Will make great sandwiches or burger buns or ?
