Ideas using TGI Friday's Spinach and Artichoke Dip as a Base

I like the basic flavor of the TGI Friday's spinach and artichoke cheese dip. An 8 oz frozen container has a total of 16 grams of carbs and microwaves up in a jiffy. However, it is a little bit too soupy for me, and when I make it I keep thinking I could add more veggies or cheese to it and thicken it up a little. Then I got to wondering if it could be the base for a fast casserole or the filling for an omelette or frittata. Does anyone have any ideas?

I use the Costco artichoke jalapeno dip as the base for stuffed mushrooms - I'd think the TGIF stuff should work too.

I use about a cup of the dip, a pound of browned sausage (we like the Jimmy Dean spicy one, but whatever you like), and about a cup of grated cheese. Add a little garlic and onion powders, some minced green onion if you want, then take the stems and gills out of the mushrooms, and stuff the mushroom caps with the mixture. We like to do the smaller baby Portabellos this way. Sprinkle the tops with Parm and paprika, then bake at 400* til the filling is bubbly and the mushrooms are tender. Let cool 10 minutes or so before eating - they're HOT in the middle!

You can use any mushroom size you like, I've done the larger white mushrooms with it too.

I believe there was a post in the cream cheese muffin thread in which someone used the spinach dip to make savory muffins. I remember it sounded good at the time- and might make a nice savory breakfast treat.
