I make homemade bone broth for my soups and then add accordingly to which soup I'm making.

It depends on how simple you want your soup. You can make homemade broth or use chicken base.

I make a bone broth too, usually overnight in the crockpot. Since we don't eat "noodle" soup anymore, I make Paula Deen's Italian Chicken and Vegetable soup. It is super easy and very flavorful!

This week, I am making chicken broth from my leftover bones from last night, and adding the diced leftover chicken, whatever vegs I have in the refrigerator (probably some chopped spinach and green onion) and then stirring in beaten egg. Egg drop soup! Delicious.

I use the shiratake noodles for chicken noodle soup. They're not bad that way. Rinse noodles well first, then I use chicken stock (preferably homemade, but not always possible), cooked diced chicken breast, sliced green onions, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and whatever LC veggies are hanging around. Simmer til veggies are tender. Wait til the next day to eat it - it's so much better!
