Can you use Almond Milk for this ??

I was going to make some SF Jello pudding.I only have SF Almond Milk. Will it set ??? It states NOT to use Soy Milk. So, I was wondering IF the Almond would work. Thank You for any help.

Jaded, not sure it would have enough fat in it set up. Can you use a can of full fat coconut milk? Or maybe Hood's milk? That always worked too. It's called Hood Calorie Count Down.. Maybe someone else has tried making pudding with almond milk. Be interesting to see..

No it won't set.

Do you have gluc? If yes about 1 tsp. should work. I do it with glucomannan.

I use half almond milk and half half&half - that works fine.

IF you try it with all almond milk I'd go with 1.5 cups, not 2. I THINK I did that once and it worked OK - but don't hold me to that!

To make "frosting" I have used 3/4 cup cream and 3/4 cup almond milk, totalling 1.5 cups of liquid, 1/2 cup less than the 2 cups they call for, and it was pretty thick and frosting like. I have never used all almond milk. Or coconut milk for that matter. The main ingredient in those puddings is cornstarch, so one would think they'd set up and get thick no matter what.

It will set with 1/2 cream & 1/2 almond milk but not all almond milk.Almond milk is mainly water thats why it won't set up.

I'm dairy free so the only way I've been able to do it is with gluc.

Maybe coconut cream would work I've never tried it.
