Yummy Sweets?
I am new to the forums and have been doing low-carb via my Doctor for about two months, lost almost 20 lbs which is great. Following her plans I don't really see any sweet options. Does anyone have any recipes etc to ease a sweet tooth? Thanks

It depends on what plan your Dr. has you on.What sweetners do you use?

Here are a few .

This is Linda Sue's website.Awesome. Everything with an * beside it is on induction.
Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes - Recipes

She has wonderful recipes on her site.

There are plenty of dessert recipes in the recipe room.

It would help to know what sweets you like so we could be more helpful with recipes...do you like cheesecake, puddings, cakes, cookies, chocolate, sweet or tart recipes?

you can google a dessert you like followed by Low Carb or low carb forums and it will direct you to threads from here and a multitude of other sources....good luck :)

Yes! :)
What kinds of sweets do I like, is that really a Question :)

All :)

DR has approved sweeteners for example Stevia, so I think the resources you all gave are something to look into. Thank you.

Super easy and unbelievably delicious:

Sugar Free Sheila's Low Carb Peanut Butter Fudge- there is a thread on this site for it

I use a 1/2 cup sweetener equivalent for this. I usually use a mix of stevia, erythritol and splenda. But you could try Stevia/erythritol alone (aka Truvia).

Anything with chocolate, you really need to use a combination of sweeteners so it won't be bitter.

Ha ha...I like all myself but hubby doesn't so,I had to ask...like I said, I get the best results by googling what ever I am hungry for and file with the words lite carb recipe or low carb forum...it brings up so many options your head will spin...find a simple recipe you like and then change it up from there for different flavors. Bookmark your recipes and then save them to documents if you like them so you can make them again...Happy hunting.
