Traveling with baking ingredients
I don't travel much, but will be taking a plane trip (within the continental US). I'd like to bring a Ziploc of stevia and of erythritol with me on my carry on. Have any of you done this successfully? I mean, the stevia is a white powder, so I wonder what security would do? I'd like to take a decent amount to last awhile. Any experience?

I know this isn't a recipe question, per se, but this seemed like the best place to ask you all :)

I have done this with erythritol, tagatose, oat fiber and a bunch if other suspicious looking substances. There's never been a problem.

I've even flown internationally with those things, as well as the BTF flour mix - never had a problem!

In your carry-on or checked baggage? Or both?

I really appreciate your replies :)

I've done both. Thought sure the drug (or bomb) sniffing dogs would be over in a heartbeat. But never a problem.

Great to hear! Will definitely make travel easier and cheaper than having to go find everything at my destinations.

thanks again for everyone's input.
