I just made this last night to go with our awesome ribs.
Here's the recipe I used:

White BBQ Sauce

Recipe By :
Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Low Carb Quick & Easy
Sauces & Marinades

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1/2 cup mayonnaise -- (109.63g)
1 tbsp lemon juice -- (15.25g) freshly squeezed
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar -- (29.88g)
1 tbsp sugar equivalent -- (12g)
1 tsp fresh cracked black pepper -- (2g)
1 1/2 tsp salt -- (4g)
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper -- (1g) ground

Servings: 4
Mix it in a bowl.
Put it on stuff!

Northern Alabama favorite ... right here!
This is a great little sauce, especially for basting or brushing onto grilled meats (such as chicken, where most of it winds up!). It's an emulsified fat, which means it brushes on thick and lustrous, but will quickly melt and meld the flavors in with the meats.

NOTES : 9/3/13 Tried this with chicken and pork. It was great! I used stevia glycerite as the sweetener and added in some Garlic Chipotle Aioli from Costco.

So sorry!!! You could take part of the sauce he made and add more of the other ingredients to it and try to salvage some.
1 cup of vinegar is a heck of a lot!!

I make mine 2:1 mayo:apple cider vinegar. To that I only add black pepper, and maybe a squeeze of lemon juice. My mom adds cayenne and I don't think it needs it. It's the best!

So you don't add any sweetener?

I'll have to try that! It sounds VERY tangy.
