Your favorite home made dressing recipes??

I'm trying to get away from serving the processed bottled ranch... Too much money, questionable ingredients and carb count... I don't mind whipping up a fresh batch but can't get my hands on buttermilk powder, lc thickeners etc... Help please!

Balsmic dressing- very easy and no sugar added. Just equal parts of balsamic vinegar and olive oil . We have a shop by us that sells flavored (infused) vinegars and oils. I would recommend a high quality balsamic vinegar and olive oil....really good and so easy.

If you like plain greek yogurt, sour cream or creme fresche, just mix some with the spices you like, some grated garlic and some lemon juice (and olive oil, if you like)

Pioneer Woman makes an awesome homemade ranch. Google it. Otherwise, I like a good Greek, evoo, red wine vinegar, oregano, s&p, lemon juice.

ranch

I ran out of ranch dressing about 5 years back. We were all sitting down to a chef salad dinner, when I realized it. I decided to try to make my own real quick. I used what I had in the frig, and to this day make it the same way:

Aprils Ranch

1/2 of a pint jar of Mayo
dry dill weed
onion powder
garlic powder
pickle Juice ( I can my own pickles, so it is close to half water, half vinegar)

I never have measured he seasonings, just dump some in. Taste as you go. Just use enough pickle juice to thin to dressing consistency. It may sound weird, but friends always ask me to bring "my ranch" when we eat at their place lol.
