My new all time favorite salad..... but I am from Philly, so it makes sense

Take your portion of nice cold salad, and top it with Philly Cheesesteak meat ( which is VERY THINLY sliced ribeye ) Your choice as to whether you want cheese on top..... I do. And then I add a few sauteed onions and minced cherry peppers.

Here, let me do this for you:

LOL Garlic!!

I haven't used Steakums but we DO slice our leftover prime rib thinly and put THAT on top of a yummy salad. Does that count?

DH likes feta on his - I like bleu cheese on mine.

I wasn't sure steakums was available nationally or not...... Fresh sliced ribeye is preferred, if you ask me.

You know what I do. I can't eat steakums just because. I take a roast partially freeze it the slice in paper thin like steakums. Just like we use to do in Jersey at the pizza parlor but I do it at home.I usally use a 4 lb. roast and get about 15 to 20 baggies of shaved steak.

You go Garlic!!!!!!!

Indeed, as long as "wit" isn't that fake nasty cheese simulation from a can.

And they only do that "wit" thing at tourist traps.... I avoid those places like the plague.

Esther

Which roast do you buy? How many pounds and how long does it
take to 'partially' freeze. This sounds like something we would enjoy
doing. SteakUmm's are good but this sounds like it would be lots
better.

Thanks,
