My experience with the All Mighty FAT BOMB!

So....I had never experienced the "fat bomb" everyone is always speaking about. It seems that I am the only one that might feel this way, so here it is....

I made the lemon fat bombs over the weekend. Ate the first one and loved it. Ate the second one and the texture was just too weird for me. Tried another one last night and threw them in the trash.

I LOVED how lemony they were, but the texture, to me, was like biting into a piece of frozen butter....

Am I missing something? Does anyone else feel this way?

I thaw out the lemon ones a bit before I eat them (usually in microwave). I eat the chocolate peanut butter ones that I make from frozen or refridgerated.

Do they still have that kind of "waxy" feel to them?

I don't even put them in the freezer. I put them in another container and keep in the refrigerator.

To me once they are thawed they taste fine. Keeping the lemon ones in the fridge instead of the freezer sounds like a good idea. You might try other recipes if this one doesn't work for you. Most fat bombs include nut butters and taste quite different than the lemon fat bomb.

marieze, have you tried one just from the fridge and not the freezer? I'd think the freezer ones would be sort of waxy/too hard.

I have actually never even made them and I've been LC for coming up on 4 years. They haven't appealed to me until I seen the lemon bombs on pinterest.

What's in them? Can someone post a link to a basic recipe thread?
