Tofu Shirtake Noodles
So again after hearing so much hype about them, and being as I pass an oriental market every day to and from the gym, I decided to give them a try.
I did as suggested and rinsed them and even soaked them for about 20 minutes. I placed them on a paper towel to dry after draining the in a strainer. I then sauteed them in EVOO and soy sauce. The texture, as many have said, leaves a little to be desired, but they weren't awful. My 13 y/o daughter like them. And what I really like is how filling they were (had about a 1/2 cup)! I didn't even need a snack last night. That in and of itself is a huge bonus. And the other bonus $1.74 a package. Not too shabby.
