PamKy ??

Pam have you found the heirloom wheat? What do you think of it?

I just got my Mother Earth News mag. and they have in there where to find it. So I went to the website. Awesome but expensive to me.
Einkorn grains look amazing to me.

It said if you have celiac disease you would not be able to eat it because of the gluten. I'm not celiac.

I'm allergic to everything that Monsanto has a hand in. So it says that I should be able to eat this.

So...... I would like your opinion of what you think of the einkorn flour if you have baked with it.

I love Charski 's recipe for wheat bread but I can't touch what she uses.

I'm open to anything.

I took to long to add something.

Do you know if I should buy seed or grain? Thanks.

Hi Rosethorns! The co-op here in Olympia (east side location) carries Einkorn flour and even some commercial baked goods made with it (cookies, but I forget the brand, sorry). The drive over might be worth it. :)

OMYGoodness in Olympia !!!!!!! So cool. My DH looked it up and found it. So I'm going to see if it is in my co-op in Graham. Thanks so much Solarpluvia.

I think the drive over is worth it.

I noticed that they have pasta made from that flour too on a website, jovial foods, if that might help.

I'm interested in this too.

They have bread Too. It's a great website.I want to see if I can get 1 lb. of the flour because I don't know if I can eat this . Hope so.

I bought some but haven't used it yet. My father passed away in January and now my mother is having some health issues so I haven't had time to do much experimenting at all.

I bought the grain since I wanted to try to sprout it since I've read that is better than for you than just using the unsprouted grain. I hope some of you try out those other products and let us know what you think.
