HELP! Paper thin oopsie waffles...

Read and re-read all the threads about using the Oopsie recipe for waffles, so whipped some up for the DH and I the other night, but they came out SUPER thin. No fluff at all. Is this normal? What am I doing wrong?

I'm sorry that did not work out. Oopsie have puff because you whipped the egg white but when you put them in the waffle maker they would deflate once you put the top down on it.

I'm guessing .
I hope this helps.

Never made them into waffles but it is key to whip egg whites so stiff that if you turn the bowl over they wont spill out...then fold in remaining ingredients...I add a tbls of flax and or protein powder to mine to make them more sturdy...were your egg whites stiff enough to begin with?

The resulting batter should be so thick you have to spoon a pile of it in the waffle maker...it should be like a mousse.

I think the oopsie mix was okay. Got my whites nice and stiff. Lets just say that when I bake it, it turns out great, but not so much in the waffle maker. Am I wrong? Maybe oopsie batter is not meant to go in a waffle iron, but I could have sworn I saw a thread with people who have tried and was successful.
