Cream Cheese Clouds
So, I made the recipe for the cream cheese clouds and while they tasted really good...there was a sugar crunch. Like the sugar didn't dissolve. So I felt like I was chewing a cheesecake bite with sand in it.

What did I do wrong? LOL!

Maybe it was b/c I used Truvia instead of Spelnda?:dunno:

I made them and used Splenda and didn't have that problem.

Yeah, Truvia doesn't dissolve in ANYTHING :laugh: I tried to mix that stuff in my tea when I was pre-LC and yeah... pretty much gritty sand at the bottom of my cup.

I used liquid stevia and that worked really well. I've also used SF Torani and that worked even better imo :)

I've used Truvia for about 3 years and have found it works best in hot liquids. Tried it in iced tea and iced coffee and discovered it really doesn't dissolve :(

Most of the time I use Ez-Sweetz from Netrition in my cream cheese clouds or fat bombs. It works really well and there are no calories/carbs.

I am curious about how much Torani syrup would be used for the cream cheese clouds?

Ladies check out this thread.

I'm trying to remember the recipe I gave my sister. I think I said add 2 T. of any s/f syrup and 6 drops of liquid sucralose to the recipe.
You can also do a search and you will find lots of recipes.
