LorAnn Banana Emulsion
Anyone use this?
I have yet to find a Banana flavoring that I like. I've bought many from the expensive to the cheap and they all taste like Banana Now and Later Candy:annoyed:
Not what I'm looking for to make banana nut muffins and such. I was wondering if anyone used the Lor Ann Banana Emulsion and likes it.

I haven't tried the emulsion, but I have had the super strong variety in bananas and cream. I thought it was pretty good, but then again, I like the artificial banana flavor. The Kroger brand banana extract is pretty good. Less artificial tasting, I would say.

Finding flavorings we like can be a bugger!

I agree about the Kroger banana flavoring. It's the most realistic one I've tried.

I've been thinking about trying banana oil rather than extract. American Spice Company makes one I may order sometime. I just haven't been happy with very many extracts.

Unfortunately, I've tried the Kroger brand and wasn't happy with it. I have a banana smoothie mix from LC Foods Corp. It is the most realistic banana flavor I've tasted since going Low Carb. I wish I knew what kind of flavoring they used in the smoothie mix.

I'm using DaVinci sf banana syrup for tropical drinks. I made a mono suscio last week that was very good.

Personally I have never ever liked imitation banana favoring. I almost gag every time someone posts about using banana flavoring. So maybe you are like me, and just can't tolerate the taste of imitation banana.
I hope for you, I'm wrong on that.

That being said, I'm not a huge fan of cooked banana in anything. I like a few things OK, if the banana isn't too strong in it. But imitation UGH!!

Have you tried the Watkins flavouring? I really like them, I travel to the US to buy them as they are not available in Canada.

I guess I'm a super taster, I've already tried the Davinci and Watkins banana flavors and did not like either one. .
I'm going to bite the bullet, and get the emulsion, hopefully it will be the one I like.

Let us know if you like it. I saw the 4oz bottle at Ross the other day for 2.99 (CHEAP-O!) but didn't get it.

Watkins was one of the brands I've tried and it tasted like banana candy to me.
