your cocoa powder fave?

I just did quite a bit of looking around on Amazon for cocoa powder. There were lots of prices and brands. What do you prefer to use? I want to use it to make milkshakes along with other things.

I prefer Dutch cocoa as to me, it has a much deeper and richer flavor. I'm not attached to any particular brand.

I'm particularly fond of Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa Powder. It has a really deep rich flavor. I think Amazon still has it.

Well, we have no Trader Joe's here, but I can find the Hershey's and think I'll give it a whirl. I just can't see paying over $20 a pound for some of the other brands.

Hershey's Special Dark gets my vote, too. I can find it in some grocery stores, but not all around me carry it.

I'm partial to both Penzey's Dutch and Natural cocoa and can't decide which I like better. I tried the kind from Trader Joe's side-by-side with both of the Penzey's and the Trader Joe's brand has almost no flavor compared to the others.

I noticed that you're not necessarily using 100 percent cocoa. That's one of the things I was wondering about. It would be nice to just go to a local store and some instead of having to order so much stuff. And back in sugar eating days, Hershey's was simply my favorite chocolate. Never did had to have the expensive stuff.

This is my favorite Cannot have my coffee without it. I can buy it in my supermarket, thank goodness!! Sometimes I do have to hunt it down as not all supermarkets in town have it, but it is so worth it.

OP--I don't know what cocoa powder you are using, but my Hershey's Special Dark is just cocoa. Nothing but cocoa. Why are you looking online for a special cocoa?

Not mine I make a special trip to either Bi-Lo, Food Lion or Publix just for that item alone.

Aunt Patty's dark chocolate is also wonderful - it's a 22/24 dark chocolate, and a little goes a long way. I use it in everything.
