Paleo bread questions?

Hi There, I'm new! I am grain free and sugar free and follow an SCD friendly way of eating. I do use stevia. Recently, I started trying to follow Trim Healthy Mama way of eating which is similar to the Dukan diet. Up till now I've made baked goods out of almond and coconut flours as I have celiac and have problems tolerating even flax and chia. Is there a way to make almond flour and coconut flour baked goods less caloric? It is best to combine these baked goods with other high fat high protein foods. Just wondering if there is a way to food combine or tweak recipes so that I can maybe eat a muffin a day without gaining weight? I'd love your ideas!

I like to use oat fiber to bring down the calories but I'm not sure if it would fit into your plan.

I'm experimenting with the latest flour on the scene. Lupin flour. Its made from lupin beans so I don't know if that is something you can have on your plan. Its 74 calories per 1/4 cup and it mixes nicely with almond flour. The texture is fabulous for muffins.

Look into ouizoids fantastic flour recipe...lower cal and low carb.

I agree with the others, if you are willing or able to use oat fiber, check out the Fantastic Flour Mix threads in this forum.
