Pea Protein Powder--Does anyone have recipes?

Pea Protein Powder--Does anyone have recipes?

I am looking for recipes other than smoothies, but hey smoothie recipes are welcome as well.

I bought the vanilla, so I am hoping to use it in baking so I can get more protein into my daily diet.

Any recipes and/or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Check out the protein pow and chocolate chili mango blogs. Both those gals bake with pea protein.

I just use it in place of whey protein powder. I have used it successfully in OMMs, Ouizoid's fantastic bake mix, Maria's sub rolls and pizza, and several other recipes.

Thanks gals. I will go check out that site.
I was hoping I could use it just like any other protein powder, but I wasn't sure.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how well it does in baked goods-better than whey protein, IMHO.

Just use it in any recipe that calls for protein powder. I mix the pea protein with rice protein powder, though you don't need to. I get NOW brand from Netrition. I love it and the price is awesome.....and it's vegan if you are into that!

I ordered an online store brand cuz I got a good deal on it.
I have seen other brands such as olympian, etc.
I can't recall what brand the sample pack was.

I need to try this out in a smoothie later today and see how it is.

Thanks Rosethorns. I will give it a try as soon as I get some time. I was hoping it would work the same as whey protein too.

I picked some up at my local HFS this morning. It is the NOW brand which is out-of-stock on Netrition.
