I have a Vitamix so it takes a couple of minutes to make it a smooth and creamy soft serve consistency. The trick is to not add too much liquid or else it ends up as a protein shake rather than soft serve.
If I'm feeling really decadent, I'll mix a tbsp of cocoa, a dash of salt, vanilla and chocolate extract into 2 tbsp of melted coconut oil. Mix it all together and pour it over the ice cream allowing some to harden and swirl the rest in. That way you get big and little chunks of chocolate in your ice cream. :)
