Food processor suggestions?

I am in the market for a new food processor. I have a fairly cheap one that is just worn out and would like to hear about any favorites that you all might have .....I am trying to buy a decent one without spending a complete fortune

I got a nice 11 cup Cuisinart on sale for $99 around Christmas. It's my third one. Only reason being - the first one (11 cup) still worked perfectly, but a couple years back my Dad thought I should have a new one (the old one was 20 +/- years old!) so bought me a 7 cup. I used it but missed those extra cups worth of processing - so bought myself this 11 cup one.

Hey, I still have the 7 cup one - want a bargain?!

I really like my KitchenAid Ultra Power Plus, but I don't think they make it anymore.

Charski, I would love a bargain!! But you have me thinking about the larger capacity I don't want to get a smaller one just to end up buying the bigger one later LOL!!

Thanks for the replies and the link to the thread!! Happy Day everyone!!

I love my cuisinart 9-cup but bigger is definitely better so get the biggest one you can and even better if it has a smaller bowl included. I think kitchenaid makes one like that.

I also love my cuisinart 9 cup. I don't regret not getting a bigger one but there's only two of us in the house so you may need a larger capacity. My mom has a mega capacity cuisinart and she says it's too big for her, she ends up having to fill it more than she wants to get it to chop properly.
