I use Knox gelatin, sweetner and Kool aid to make my jello.

This is a wonderful recipe that you will love.

I do like Ester, and make mine with Knox gelatin, koolaid, and sweetener. I won't buy the boxed stuff as I haven't been able to find any SF jello that doesn't use aspartame, and I won't use that stuff.

I'm not a huge jello fan tho (nor is my husband), so rarely make it.

Thought I sent this out hours ago. Just found it. Guess I clicked preview instead of submit, and then went to another web page, & then even left the house for a while!! :o

Thank you Esther and Billie. I guess I'll use up what I have - then prepare to make my own. I can't throw anything out - that's been branded in my since birth LOL :)

Thank you for that link also!!!! I'm going to try making that instead :)

Amy You'll love the recipe. My sister is on OWL and she loves it. You can use any of the flavors you just bought.

I'm not crazy about jello. I buy Nutrijell at an asian grocer, it's unsweetened so I can add my own sweetener.

It's made from agar and konjac. I add an extra tsp of konjac to the mix so that I can cut the jelly into cubes and it's nice and chewy. :)

I like the creamsicle jello!

Here's the other recipes I have saved: MANY

12 ounce bag frozen raspberries, thaw and reserve juice
1/4 cup granular Splenda, 1/4 cup raspberry sugar free syrup or equivalent liquid Splenda

Sweeten berry liquid with Splenda or raspberry sugar free syrup. Add water or syrup to berry juice to make 1 cup liquid; bring to a boil on stove or in microwave. Dissolve jello in berry liquid; stir in 1 cup cold water. Whisk in yogurt until well blended. Chill until partially set, about 40 minutes; fold in berries and whipped cream until no white streaks remain. Pour into a large serving bowl and chill several hours until set.

This is a low carb adaptation of a holiday Jello recipe that I've made for many years. I am pleased with the results and my son couldn't tell it was any different than the original.

1 small package diet jello, any flavor
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup heavy cream, whipped

In a medium bowl, mix the cottage cheese and dry jello mix well. Fold in the whipped cream until no streaks of jello remain. Chill well before serving.

I had a few packages of raspberry diet jello kicking around in my pantry that needed to be used for something. I'd gotten them marked down to a dime each a while back. This week Kroger has cottage cheese on sale so it was the perfect time to try out this recipe. I don't remember where I found this recipe but I remember eating a high carb version of it many years ago and it was very good. This version is even better because it's low carb and uses real whipped cream instead of Cool Whip.

Easy jello cheesecake

Dissolve 2 pkgs sf jello (9g ea) in 2/3 cup boiling water.
Add 8 oz cream cheese, cut into 4 pieces.
Whip 1 c whipping cream until stiff peaks form.

The cr cheese should be softening by now; to jello mixture add 1 cup cottage cheese. Blend until smooth with a hand blender or in a food processor or blender. Fold in whipping cream and refridgerate.

Jello Cream Cheese Cups
1-2 ounces regular cream cheese (up to you and your fat count)
1-2 tbsp. heavy cream (optional)
2-3 tbsp. Splenda
1 packet of prepared sugar-free jello divided in 4 cups (the tropical fruit mix flavor is my personal favorite.)
I tbsp. sugar free toasted coconut flakes (optional)

This is very simple and satisfies my sugar cravings.
It is also a great and simple Fat fast day recipe.
It is very high in fat, and low in carbs.

The cream cheese generally has less than 1 carb per one ounce serving, the heavy cream generally has about 2g of carbs per tbsp.

Warm the cream cheese for 30 seconds in the microwave, then whip in the cream (optional, depends on your fat allowance) and add the Splenda.

Top each cup of jello with 1/4 of the mixture. Let it set for a couple of minutes.

1 small package sugar free lemon jello
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice, about 1/2 small lemon
3 tablespoons water
2 6-ounce containers sugar free lemon yogurt *
1 teaspoon lemon peel, very finely grated, rind of 1 small lemon
1 cup heavy cream, whipped

Bring the lemon juice and enough water to equal 1/4 cup to a boil. In a large bowl, dissolve the jello in the juice/water mixture, stirring about 2 minutes. Whisk in the yogurt and lemon peel until well blended. Very gently fold in the cream until no white streaks remain. Chill at least 2 hours until set.
Makes 8 half-cup servings

* If you can't get lemon yogurt, use sugar free vanilla yogurt.
